Business Management I
Course Description

Business Management 1 is an introductory business course designed to provide students with the skills needed to understand the fundamentals of managing a business. This course will cover managing and leadership, communication and interpersonal skills, ethics, economics, and marketing principles. Students should be prepared for an interactive technology based class that will include hands-on activities and group discussions. Students are expected to come to class with a willingness to learn. Regular attendance in class is vital and mandatory to ensure a quality educational experience.
Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) is a co-curricular component of the Business Management program. The student organization enhances classroom instruction, helps develop occupational, employability and leadership skills through various activities such as conferences, service projects, fundraising activities, chapter officer positions and competitive events.
